The Critical Care Department at City of Hope® Cancer Center Atlanta provides comprehensive and continuous care to critically ill patients through the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit (ICU).

Our ICU provides specialized nursing care, including oncologic, surgical, cardiovascular, renal (including hemodialysis), infectious disease and respiratory care (including ventilator support). Patients in the ICU receive monitoring and care 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Our critical care team is staffed by board-certified critical care physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, critical care nurses, cardiopulmonary specialists and other experts. The team takes a multidisciplinary approach, and works closely with patients' oncologists to provide streamlined, supportive care and attention.
