About Me

Tanisha O’Connor, FNP-C, AGACNP-BC, RNFA, is a Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner at City of Hope® Cancer Center Atlanta, where she provides advanced clinical care for acutely ill cancer patients in both surgical and inpatient settings. With more than two decades’ experience as a nurse and nurse practitioner, O’Connor brings expertise, compassion and a dedication to serving patients and helping them make informed decisions about their care.

O’Connor trained as a family nurse practitioner at the University of Texas Health Science Center, where she earned her master’s in nursing. She then completed a certification as an adult gerontology acute care nurse practitioner at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. She’s held a variety of clinical roles over the course of her career and is a part-time clinical instructor for students pursuing a career as a nurse practitioner.

Outside of City of Hope, O’Connor enjoys spending time outdoors in nature.

Star ratings and comments are only available for medical, radiation and gynecologic oncologists. Gynecologic surgical offerings are not included at this time due to a different survey tool required to evaluate these services.
