Tanisha O’Connor, FNP-C, AGACNP-BC, RNFA, is a Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner at City of Hope^® Cancer Center Atlanta, where she provides advanced clinical care for acutely ill cancer patients in both surgical and inpatient settings. With more than two decades’ experience as a nurse and nurse practitioner, O’Connor brings expertise, compassion and a dedication to serving patients and helping them make informed decisions about their care.

O’Connor trained as a family nurse practitioner at the University of Texas Health Science Center, where she earned her master’s in nursing. She then completed a certification as an adult gerontology acute care nurse practitioner at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. She’s held a variety of clinical roles over the course of her career and is a part-time clinical instructor for students pursuing a career as a nurse practitioner.

Outside of City of Hope, O’Connor enjoys spending time outdoors in nature.
