For Min Han, M.D., Ph.D., her calling as a physician began at a young age with the simple desire to help others when they are sick, hurt and afraid. She chose pathology as a specialty because she enjoys decoding the microscopic mysteries of the cell to help guide patients to the best treatment for their disease. When working with patients, she believes in an inclusive environment and places an emphasis on treating each person with integrity, respect and equity.Â
Before coming to City of Hope, Dr. Han was a pathologist with Kaiser Permanente South Sacramento Medical Center and an assistant clinical professor of pathology and laboratory medicine at the University of California Irvine. Her passion for understanding disease at the cellular level, especially in breast and gynecologic cancers, carries over to her research activities. She has a number of publications in topics involving breast and gynecologic cancers and cytopathology.
