He was a resident and fellow in thoracic surgery in Armenia and in St. Petersburg, Russia.

He served as chief physician of the Evaluation Treatment Center Pulmonary/TB at Tuberculosis Hospital #7 in Moscow, and in the Department of Surgery at Pulmonary Hospital in Abovian, Armenia.

Dr. Zourabian then moved to the United States where he completed a residency in family medicine at Presbyterian Intercommunity Hospital in Whittier, California.  During his residency, Dr. Zourabian was a hospitalist at City of Hope and then he joined City of Hope Medical Center full time in 2012.

Dr. Zourabian has published several peer-reviewed papers focused on thoracic surgery.

Patient ratings
Star ratings and comments are only available for medical, radiation and gynecologic oncologists. Gynecologic surgical offerings are not included at this time due to a different survey tool required to evaluate these services. CTCA uses a validated Press Ganey® survey, which captures patient experience feedback for the primary oncology services of chemotherapy and radiation therapy at our comprehensive care and research centers. Following industry best practice, star ratings and comments are only published for physicians with a minimum of 30 completed patient surveys.
