About Me
Personal experience inspired Lihong Wu, M.D., to pursue her career as a physician. The daughter of a doctor, she would shadow her father at work and be amazed at the care he provided. When she was 8 years old, Dr. Wu lost her grandfather to liver cancer. Since then, she has made it her mission to help others triumph over cancer. She prides herself on being there for her patients and finding the best possible treatments for them.

Dr. Wu, who speaks Mandarin, received her medical training at Shanghai Medical University in China. She furthered her expertise in oncology, hematology and internal medicine as a resident at Brookdale University in New York and as a fellow at New York Medical College.

Dr. Wu enjoys exercising, including climbing, tai qi and yoga, and taking her children to their art and dance classes. In the past, she has run marathons with her colleagues.
Patient ratings
Star ratings and comments are only available for medical, radiation and gynecologic oncologists. Gynecologic surgical offerings are not included at this time due to a different survey tool required to evaluate these services. CTCA uses a validated Press Ganey® survey, which captures patient experience feedback for the primary oncology services of chemotherapy and radiation therapy at our comprehensive care and research centers. Following industry best practice, star ratings and comments are only published for physicians with a minimum of 30 completed patient surveys.
