About Me
Karamjeet Singh Sandhu, M.D., is Assistant Professor in the department of Hematology and Hematopoietic Cell Transplantation at City of Hope. 
 
Dr. Sandhu received his medical degree from Tver State Medical Academy in Russia. He then pursued a residency in internal medicine at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis, followed by a clinical fellowship in the division of hematology, oncology and transplantation at the University of Minnesota. He completed a BMT fellowship here at City of Hope.
 
Board certified in Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology, Dr. Sandhu is fluent in English, Punjabi, Hindi and Russian. His area of interest includes leukemia in geriatric population, immunotherapy, graft versus host disease, impact of microbiome on hematopoietic stem cell transplant. Dr. Sandhu has presented on these topics at various conferences nationwide and has authored multiple peer reviewed journal articles and abstracts.
