About Me
James Mason, M.D., M.P.H., brings a wide variety of radiation oncology expertise to City of Hope. With more than 25 years' experience, he is highly trained and well-versed in the latest precision radiation equipment and techniques including HDR brachytherapy, LDR brachytherapy, intensity modulated radiation therapy, prostate brachytherapy, stereotactic radiosurgery, 3D conformal radiation therapy and the Mammosite system.

Dr. Mason received his medical degree from Wayne State University in Detroit where he also completed his internship and residency. He also holds a Masters in Public Health from Harvard.

Dr. Mason served at the prestigious Cleveland Clinic for several years before arriving in Southern California. He's spent the past decade treating patients in Wildomar in Riverside County.
