About Me
I chose City of Hope because of its innovation and care for each individual as a whole.

Whether she’s volunteering at a clinic in Washington, D.C., or performing surgery for the people of Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, Fornati Bedell, M.D., M.H.S., is passionate about public health and works tirelessly to bring quality care to everyone. “Having lived in Liberia for some time of my life growing up, I realized there was a significant lack of health care and witnessed people's lives being affected by this,” she says. “Living in America, this proved to be true as well.”

Dr. Bedell received her medical degree at Georgetown University and a Master of Health Science at Johns Hopkins University. She continued her training with residencies in surgery and urology at University of Maryland.

Dr. Bedell treats patients at our Santa Clarita and Antelope Valley community practice sites.
Patient ratings
Star ratings and comments are only available for medical, radiation and gynecologic oncologists. Gynecologic surgical offerings are not included at this time due to a different survey tool required to evaluate these services. CTCA uses a validated Press Ganey® survey, which captures patient experience feedback for the primary oncology services of chemotherapy and radiation therapy at our comprehensive care and research centers. Following industry best practice, star ratings and comments are only published for physicians with a minimum of 30 completed patient surveys.
