About Me
Farhad Mazdisnian, M.D., is a clinical professor and chief of the Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine in City of Hope's Department of Medicine. He is a board-certified pulmonologist with over 20 years experience and has led several prominent pulmonary/critical care departments, including the VA Healthcare System in Long Beach, California, where he served for more than a decade.
 
Dr. Mazdisnian earned his medical degree at Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He interned at Harbor UCLA Medical Center in Torrance, California, and the University of California Irvine. He continued his training with residency and a pulmonary and critical care fellowship at UC Irvine. He also holds a degree in pharmacy from the University of Southern California and he is a fellow of the College of Chest Physicians.
 
A leader in his field, Dr. Mazdisnian has been named Physician of the Year, as well as Outstanding Teacher of Physicians. He has authored some two dozen papers and presentations.
