About Me
As a medical physicist, Chunhui Han, Ph.D., works hand-in-hand with our radiation oncologists to ensure that each radiation treatment is scrupulously calibrated, meets the most exacting standards and provides maximum benefit to patients while minimizing side effects.

A gifted scientist with degrees in particle physics, computer science and engineering, Dr. Han has been with City of Hope for more than a decade, training radiation professionals and maintaining quality control protocols for a wide variety of radiation treatment systems.

After undergraduate studies at Beijing University in China, Dr. Han received his master’s degree and Ph.D. at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. He considers City of Hope an ideal environment where his work impacts patients' lives daily, and he has the freedom to choose his area of research “to achieve professional and personal growth.”

Patient ratings
Star ratings and comments are only available for medical, radiation and gynecologic oncologists. Gynecologic surgical offerings are not included at this time due to a different survey tool required to evaluate these services. CTCA uses a validated Press Ganey® survey, which captures patient experience feedback for the primary oncology services of chemotherapy and radiation therapy at our comprehensive care and research centers. Following industry best practice, star ratings and comments are only published for physicians with a minimum of 30 completed patient surveys.
