About Me

A top achiever from her earliest school days, Caitlin Gomez, M.D., sets the bar high for herself, while always looking to make things better for those around her.

With a degree in electrical engineering to accompany her M.D., Dr. Gomez brings a unique perspective to her work as a City of Hope radiation oncologist. She is well-versed in many forms of radiation therapy including image-guided radiation therapy, intensity modulated radiation therapy, stereotactic radiosurgery and stereotactic body radiation therapy.

Dr. Gomez earned her medical degree at University of California, Los Angeles, and continued her training there, rising to chief resident in the Department of Radiation Oncology. During that time, she led projects to improve patient care and communications through the use of electronic medical records.

Patient ratings
Star ratings and comments are only available for medical, radiation and gynecologic oncologists. Gynecologic surgical offerings are not included at this time due to a different survey tool required to evaluate these services. CTCA uses a validated Press Ganey® survey, which captures patient experience feedback for the primary oncology services of chemotherapy and radiation therapy at our comprehensive care and research centers. Following industry best practice, star ratings and comments are only published for physicians with a minimum of 30 completed patient surveys.
