Cancer Treatment Centers of America® (CTCA) Chicago and Wayne County Hospital in Corydon recently announced their partnership to offer coordinated, advanced oncology care to residents of southcentral Iowa. The official launch of the partnership was marked by a ribbon-cutting event held at Wayne County Hospital on November 10, 2021. This latest collaboration is the fourth community hospital partnership and third in Iowa for CTCA Chicago.
“Rural communities often face challenges when it comes to advanced cancer treatment options,” said Pete Govorchin, CTCA Enterprise Chief Operating Officer and Regional President. “We are excited to collaborate with Wayne County Hospital and the Corydon community to offer comprehensive oncology services for patients closer to their homes and families.”
