Chicago area cancer hospital recognized for achieving and sustaining excellence in patient experience
Cancer Treatment Centers of America® (CTCA) Chicago is pleased to announce it has received a Press Ganey 2018 Guardian of Excellence Award®. This award recognizes top-performing health care organizations in the U.S. that have achieved the 95th percentile or above for performance in patient experience, employee engagement, physician engagement or clinical quality. The comprehensive care and research center achieved this recognition for exceptional patient experience.
Numerous CTCA Chicago programs and practices assisted in the recognition including leadership rounding and lean daily management board huddles. Over the past year, CTCA Chicago also made customer service developments, including comment sharing, the practice of AIDET (Acknowledge, Introduce, Duration, Explanation and Thank You) communication and the utilization of the Say This Not That tool.
