This news release from the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) highlights a presentation made by Ricardo H. Alvarez, MD, MSc, Medical Director of the Cancer Treatment Centers of America® (CTCA) Breast Cancer Institute and Director of Cancer Research at CTCA® Atlanta at the recent annual ESMO conference in Munich.
“We have shown that we can perform large-scale tumour profiling and use the results to match patients to targeted treatment in the type of community setting where most patients are treated in the United States,” said Dr. Alvarez.
