Cancer Treatment Centers of America® (CTCA) recently received more than a dozen awards for marketing communications campaigns designed to reach and engage prospective patients.
“Congratulations are in order for our talented Growth team for their creativity and effective execution of the Prostate Pep Talk, Outsmarting Cancer and WebMD partnership campaigns, plus our in-house studio team for their award-winning video productions,” said Chief Growth Officer Peter C. Yesawich, Ph.D.
Prostate Pep Talk, a public service awareness campaign created to encourage men to get screened for prostate cancer, is a partnership between CTCA®, the National Football League Alumni Association (NFLA) and LabCorp. Held during the month of September (2017) and supported with local events at each CTCA hospital, the campaign attracted nearly 64,000 visitors to the campaign website and more than 700 men got screened at LabCorp clinics nationwide.

2018 Bulldog PR Gold Award in the Best in Healthcare Campaign category
The Bulldog PR Awards recognize outstanding public relations and communications campaigns from 2017 and are a combination of Bulldog's digital, social media and media relations awards programs, voted on by journalists and public relations professionals nationwide.
2018 AAF Fourth District Angel Competition Silver Public Health & Safety Angel Award
The American Advertising Federation (AAF) Fourth District is comprised of 19 local federations throughout Florida and the Caribbean representing nearly 1,000 members. The Angel Award Competition honors the very best in public service advertising.
IABC Bronze Quill Award
The Tulsa Chapter of the International Association of Business Communicators’ (IABC) recognizes outstanding employee communications, public relations, media relations, community relations, government affairs and marketing communication efforts with the Bronze Quill award.
Healthcare Advertising Award
This competition is the oldest, largest and most widely respected healthcare advertising awards program. The awards are sponsored by Healthcare Marketing Report, the leading publication covering all aspects of healthcare marketing, advertising and strategic business development. Prostate Pep Talk received a Silver award in the Health Promotion Program category.
Telly Awards
These national awards honor excellence in video and television. The Prostate Pep Talk video, “Are you tougher than an NFL coach?” received two Bronze awards.
