CTCA® ranked 45 among 59 large organizations
Cancer Treatment Centers of America® (CTCA), a national cancer care network, was today named number 45 on IDG's Computerworld list of 2018 Best Places to Work in IT. CTCA® is one of 100 top organizations that offers IT workers great benefits and compensation along with a stimulating work environment. This is the seventh consecutive year CTCA has been named to the list.“It is humbling to be included in Computerworld’s 2018 Best Places to Work in IT for the seventh consecutive year. Our team has worked hard to establish deep and broad connections with our clinicians and business units,” said Kristin Darby, Chief Information Officer at CTCA. “These deep connections create an environment where our employees feel empowered to lead transformational change that enables them to see the positive impact of their work each day on our patients’ journeys in their fight against cancer.”
The CTCA Information Technology department has responsibility for technology, digital and informatics with employees located in nine locations across the U.S. The company’s commitment to its employees (which CTCA refers to as “Stakeholders”) is demonstrated by the number of programs and financial incentives it offers to enhance employee satisfaction.
“Over the past couple of years, we've seen an already tight market for tech talent get even tighter,” said Computerworld executive editor Ken Mingis. “Computerworld's 2018 Best Places to Work in IT list illustrates that the companies that offer the best working environments aren't satisfied with rolling out one or two initiatives. They seek an edge in the talent marketplace through a combination of good salaries, great benefits, ready access to training, and the deployment of cutting-edge technologies. They recognize that the top tech talent can easily move to the organization that respects them best, and they are determined to be that organization.”
