When Christine Bray’s metastatic ovarian cancer didn’t respond to conventional treatments, her doctors at Cancer Treatment Centers of America® (CTCA) tried something different. A genomic sequencing test showed two mutations in Bray’s tumor that were targeted with a drug not typically used to treat ovarian cancer. Now researchers are using what they learned from her case to help other cancer patients with the same tumor mutations.
