About Me

Dr. Jeffrey Schriber joined City of Hope in Phoenix, Arizona, in December 2020. Dr. Schriber is dedicated to providing cancer care that is compassionate and personalized. He believes that patients benefit from whole-person care at City of Hope, which not only fights cancer but helps maintain quality of life.

“The most rewarding part of my practice is providing hope and support to patients and families throughout their cancer journey,” says Dr. Schriber. “My goal is to have open and honest communication, so that I understand each individual’s goals and values. I take time to answer any questions and I empower my patients which information about their treatment options.”

Dr. Schriber strives to provide personalized care and to keep patients and their families informed throughout treatment, so they can make educated decisions about care. He works with many different cancer types, with a focus on hematologic malignancies. Dr. Schriber incorporates genomic testing, targeted therapy, immunotherapy, chemotherapy and other advanced treatments currently available.

At City of Hope Phoenix, Dr. Schriber is the Medical Director for Hematologic Malignancies. Dr. Schriber earned his medical degree from the University of Toronto in Toronto, Canada. He also completed an internal medicine and hematology fellowship at the University of Toronto. Additionally, Dr. Schriber completed a fellowship in bone marrow transplantation at Stanford University Medical Center in Stanford, California. Dr. Schriber is a member of several of professional medical organizations including the American Society of Hematology, American Society for Blood and Marrow Transplantation and American Society of Clinical Oncology. He is widely published in the field of stem cell transplantation. 

Outside of City of Hope, Dr. Schriber enjoys spending time with his three children. He also likes hockey, collecting comic books and modern art.
