About Me

Ashley Wilson is a certified lymphedema and pelvic floor therapist at City of Hope in Atlanta, Georgia.  She joined the City of Hope Atlanta hospital in November 2020, and is part of the oncology rehabilitation team, working alongside physical therapists and speech language pathologists.

Wilson helps her patients achieve their maximum functional performance. She is focused on restoring patients’ independence and enhancing their quality of life. Wilson uses innovative techniques designed to reduce swelling and alleviate discomfort for patients with lymphedema. In addition, she provides therapy for the pelvic floor muscles, ligaments and connective tissues designed to help support the pelvic organs, contribute to sexual arousal, and assist in bladder and bowel control.

“At City of Hope, I enjoy the one-on-one dynamic of occupational therapy which allows me to truly get to know my patients,” says Wilson. “I help patients with a variety of cancer types, and I personalize their care to help them meet their individual needs and goals.”

Wilson graduated from Augusta University in Augusta, Georgia, with a Master’s of Allied Health Science degree in occupational therapy. Wilson holds a certificate in lymphedema and oncology rehabilitation with specialty in pelvic floor rehabilitation. She is a licensed occupational therapist in Georgia. Before joining City of Hope, Wilson gained clinical experience in a variety of settings.

Outside of City of Hope, Wilson enjoys being with her friends and family. She cherishes the time she has with her daughter, including driving her to all of her dance and piano activities. Wilson is an active volunteer with the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
Patient ratings
Star ratings and comments are only available for medical, radiation and gynecologic oncologists. Gynecologic surgical offerings are not included at this time due to a different survey tool required to evaluate these services. CTCA uses a validated Press Ganey® survey, which captures patient experience feedback for the primary oncology services of chemotherapy and radiation therapy at our comprehensive care and research centers. Following industry best practice, star ratings and comments are only published for physicians with a minimum of 30 completed patient surveys.
