Expert prostate cancer care for men
At City of Hope, we understand that prostate cancer affects each man differently. Some require urgent treatment to attack an aggressive, advanced stage of disease, while for others, the emphasis is on addressing sexual and urinary side effects while helping them manage a chronic disease. The prostate cancer treatment team at City of Hope Phoenix treats each patient as an individual, with his own needs and goals, leveraging decades of experience and specialized training to design personalized, comprehensive treatment plans while collaborating in real time to update the plan as needed along the way.
Our prostate cancer team is led by Urologist Shawn Blick, MD, and Urologic Oncologist Farshid Sadeghi, MD, who are trained and experienced in treating all stages and types of prostate cancer, as well as cancers of the urinary tract and the male reproductive system. The prostate cancer experts at City of Hope Phoenix collaborate daily, with one another and a team of supportive care providers who help patients manage cancer- and treatment-related side effects, like incontinence and sexual dysfunction.
