Each year, U.S. News & World Report evaluates the performance of thousands of hospitals nationwide in gynecologic cancer surgery using data on patient survival, nurse staffing, volume and more. Hospitals receive one of three ratings: high-performing, average or below-average. For 2024-25, City of Hope's comprehensive treatment hospital in northern Lake County, Illinois received the highest possible ranking for gynecologic cancer surgery, and was named a "high-performing" hospital in this category.

Each patient is assigned a multidisciplinary care team, led by a medical oncologist and coordinated by a care manager, who answers your questions, manages your treatment schedule and assists in the logistics involved in the cancer journey. We also offer clinical trials to qualified patients.
